The LX-160’s five-axis design is not a three-axis machine with a “bolt on” 4th and 5th axis but a purposely designed true 5 axis machine. The LX-160 is designed for the high-speed, high-accuracy market, with a focus on small work piece processing and unmanned operation with the available pallet changer options.
