St. Paul, MN (November 24, 2015) — Matsuura Machinery USA announces the selection of Jim Shiner as VP Sales and Marketing.
As Matsuura USA’s VP Sales and Marketing, Shiner will be directly responsible for all sales and marketing activities at Matsuura. He will provide leadership to the Matsuura USA sales and marketing teams, develop new business opportunities, enhance distributor relationships and assist in providing customized solutions for our customers.

Shiner most recently held the position of General Manager of Operations at DMG/Mori Seiki USA, where he maintained responsibility for all phases of office operation, service, application engineering and order processing. Prior to his role as General Manager, he served as Regional Sales Manager at DMG/Mori Seiki USA.
Shiner also previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing, as well as General Manager of Systems Group and Midwest Regional Sales Manager for Doosan. Shiner holds a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Missouri in Columbia, MO.
