St. Paul, MN (November 16, 2022) — Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc., an innovator in the design, development, and manufacture of high-precision manufacturing solutions for nearly 100 years, announces the appointment of Sue Michal to Director of Finance & Administration.
Michal’s career comprises a variety of financial executive and management positions spanning more than three decades and including Controller and CPA leadership roles.
In her new position as Director of Finance & Administration, Michal will be responsible for maintaining corporate-wide financial and administrative objectives, policies, programs, and practices.
Michal will oversee the strategic direction of the corporate accounting organization, financial-close processes, reporting, and continuous improvements to support the growth objectives of Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc.
“Sue’s extensive experience in all aspects of accounting and financial management including internal controls, SEC reporting and staff development, will reinforce our finance and accounting functions,” said Brad Baker, Matsuura’s Vice President of Finance & Administration. “She will drive continued excellence and deliver focused execution of our growth strategy.”
Michal is a Certified Public Accountant in Minnesota. She is a graduate of the University of South Florida, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
