St. Paul, MN (September 26, 2018) — OMW Corporation continues to quietly churn out strong revenue growth, returning to the Inc. 5000 list of fast-growing U.S. private companies for a fifth time.

The Novato, CA based company ranked No. 3,159, with 125 percent revenue growth 2014–2017. OMW took in $7.2 million last year. That’s the placement criteria Inc. magazine has for the list.

OMW Corporation is a high-technology contract manufacturing business, founded in 1996 and specializing in precision CNC-machined components and assemblies. Parts and assemblies made by OMW are found in some of the most advanced electronics, aerospace and medical products in the world.

OMW Corporation has decades of experience in all aspects of production and prototype CNC machining. They specialize in 2 through 5 axis CNC milling and turning of small to mid-sized parts and assemblies, including complex 3D surface machining. OMW works with all common materials, including all Aluminum alloys, Titanium, Stainless Steels, and engineering plastics. The company operates 7 days a week, with multiple shifts.

“We continue to add premier aerospace, medical and electronics companies to our client list,” said founder and Chairman Joe Osborn.

But the list of clients is largely confidential, because of national and trade secrecy requirements, he said.

“OMW Corporation invests in the most modern and highest quality computer-controlled machine tools available. We own our own building, and due to our extremely efficient use of space, labor and capital equipment, and our continuing investment in modern tooling and fixturing, OMW is internationally competitive on price, quality and lead-time. OMW has customers in every part of the country, and many around the globe. Our continuing goal is superb service, on-time delivery and 100% customer satisfaction,” said an OMW Spokesperson.

The company currently employs 31, up from 29 at year-end 2017, and plans to hire three to five this year.

Competitive salary, benefits such as full medical coverage and year-end bonuses are ways the company attracts hires, Osborn said. Keeping them motivated means keeping them involved with the company, he said.

“(Have) good communications and let them share in the profits of the company,” he said.

What’ the danger of growing too quickly? “Loss of control,” Osborn said.

OMW manufactures and assembles parts in California. OMW can deliver complete mechanical assemblies and kits built to order.

Equipment includes CNC machines such as Matsuura MAM72-35V with 32-pallets 5-axis machining cells with pick-and-place robots to numerous smaller vertical machining centers. An advanced, temperature-controlled quality-assurance department with automated and other measurement tools traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology, to help ensure parts are built to exact specifications.

The Matsuura MAM72 Series provides versatility for OMW in the machining of very small to very large components. Possessing 32 pallets as standard, the MAM72-35V is the solution for long periods of unmanned 5 axis simultaneous productivity.

Enhancing cost-savings and providing better positioning with a maximum of two total setups, the MAM72-35V provides pallet and productivity solutions to keep your work center efficiently producing components around the clock. The Matsuura MAM72-35V offers an array of configurations from PC2 to Full Automation and Unmanned Running.

The Matsuura MAM72-35V features an array of configurations from PC2 to Full Automation and Unmanned Production and delivers maximum production flexibility: Attended Operation, the machine produces high value-added and prototypes, and during overnight runs, Unattended Operation provides long series of low-cost components.

Equipped with Direct Drive Linear Motors, high precision and accuracy are guaranteed on the MAM72-35V. The machine also assures sustained longer tool life through the dynamic thrust and acceleration of the B / C axes.

The movement and range of B-axes on the MAM72-35V have been extended 19 additional degrees, from 106 to 125 degrees. Now, one-chucking covers a larger operational range.

The machine offers maximum flexibility to match the customer’s workload: twin, 32, and 40 pallet options are available with up to 520 Tools.

OMW is registered as a AS9100 (Rev D, ISO 9001:2015 and ITAR (DDTC)) supplier.
