Within our business philosophy, Matsuura plays a huge role in it because it provides us that Matsuura quality and that reliability that we want to be able to provide to our customers.
For us to provide quality components, we need a machine that is accurate and repeatable and that’s what Matsuura Machinery has provided for us.
Our focus and our goal is to try and increase our overall efficiency. The pallet systems that Matsuura features is really the wave of the future.
We are using that automated machine to take out the labor. Prior to the machine, it was a labor-intensive operation to machine these parts.
Where It was a one-man constantly loading unloading a machine, checking parts, now with the MX 330, it enabled us to run the ten pallets/utilize 90 tools and run for a six and a half hour run all by itself.
The machine is running and producing parts even though there is not an operator standing right there.
By utilizing 5-axis machining, we can really reduce a lot of fixturing. We can take a piece of raw material, hang onto it, machine it from five sides five different viewpoints and really increase efficiency just by that operation in itself.
The other nice part about Matsuura is it comes bundled with a CAMplete software. It is a great benefit and a great tool. We have a reliable machine and an accurate machine. It has worked out very well for us and that is why we are buying a second machine.
We are looking at other platforms again with Matsuura and increasing the number of tools and pallets, we are seeing the gains of automated manufacturing.
Yamazen’s support has been there with us through the beginning. They have provided good support from the time that the machine was on our floor they work very hard at providing service for us.
I see the relationship continuing. We are very satisfied with the Matsuura platform, the machine, and the Matsuura automation.
I think going into the future, the Matsuura automation is really the best solution for the machining and the manufacturing business that ae are in. Our efficiency is vastly improved by taking advantage of this technology that Matsuura is offering and Yamazen’s support should satisfy the demands of our customers.
