St. Paul, MN (September 30, 2019) — Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc., an innovator in the design, development and manufacture of high-precision manufacturing solutions for more than 80 years, announces the appointment of Andrea E. Turnquist as Controller.
Turnquist will oversee the accounting department and manage all areas of the company’s financial reporting and general ledger, as well as tax, audit and cash management functions.
“With Andrea’s comprehensive knowledge of the complexities of the business, strong business acumen and extensive accounting experience, she will serve as a critical part of our leadership team in executing on our continued growth path,” said Brad Baker, Vice President of Finance & Administration.
Turnquist has over 20 years of diversified accounting and finance experience, balanced among large and emergent companies, as well as in-depth industry experience. Prior to joining Matsuura, she held the position of Controller & Manager of Sales Administration at a privately held medical device manufacturer in MN.
Turnquist earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Minnesota-Duluth.
