St. Paul, MN (November 2, 2017) — Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. announces a cost-effective, heavy-duty, manufacturing solution, the all-new VX-660 Vertical Machining Center.
The tough and robust VX-660 is the latest heavy weight vertical from Matsuura, the pioneer of vertical machining technology. Matsuura has more than 40 years of providing vertical machining centers.
This versatile 3-axis vertical machining center boasts high-speed, high-precision and high-accuracy within a compact footprint. The VX-660’s footprint is 17% smaller than the VX-1000.
With a very large Y-axis of 550 mm, the all-new VX-660 is equipped with: a high-performance and high-rigidity BT40/15K spindle; and 30 Tools standard with conveyor and 48/60 optional.
The VX-660 Vertical Machining Center will machine a vast array of materials from Aluminum to Cast Iron to Titanium, etc., and parts weighing up to 500 kg.

Many features of the VX-660 Vertical machining Center which were previously offered as options now come as standard to ensure cost performance including: the lift-up chip conveyor (scraper type); workpiece cleaning gun; chip flush; air blow for chip removal; and CE marking to follow EU safety standard requirements.
