St. Paul, MN (July 17, 2018) — Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. announces the selection of Joshua Soost as Matsuura LUMEX Application Engineer.
Soost will train and support distributor engineers and Matsuura customers in the operation and troubleshooting of the Matsuura LUMEX Series product line for machine software, machining applications, cutting conditions and control functions.
“Joshua’s proficiency in Solidworks along with his hands-on manufacturing experience will be essential as we continue to develop the market for the Matsuura LUMEX Product line,” said Tom Houle, Director, Matsuura LUMEX, NA, Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc.
As a Matsuura LUMEX Application Engineer, Soost will also create CAD models, setup and execute machine demos for both showroom machines and technical workshops/open houses and troubleshoot machine functions and Matsuura software.
Soost previously held positions in the design and manufacture of precision tooling for the CNC machining industry. In addition, he has more than 10 years in Moldmaking and extensive experience in automation.
Soost earned degrees in Moldmaking and Computer Numerical Control from Ridgewater Technical College in Hutchinson, MN.
“Joshua’s experience and educational background will be an asset as he trains our customers and distributor personnel on the Matsuura LUMEX machines,” Houle added.
