MATSUURA MACHINERY USA, INC. COMMEMORATES FIVE YEARS IN ST. PAUL, MN

St. Paul, MN (April 5, 2018) — This week marks Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc.’s 5th Anniversary.

“We have achieved this milestone through the hard work and dedication of our team members and our distributor partners.   Most importantly, we are grateful for the trust and loyalty of our customers,” said Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. President, Craig St. John.

In 5 years, Matsuura USA has doubled in staff at their St. Paul, MN headquarters. The Service Department has grown and strengthened to meet the needs of the company’s soaring customer base, including: Support Representatives; Dedicated Phone Representatives; Service Coordinators; and Remote Service Engineers in Ohio, California, Arizona and North Carolina. The Matsuura USA Parts department has also doubled in size since the doors opened in 2013.

The Sales Department has also expanded as the demand for Matsuura’s high speed and high precision 5-axis CNC machine tools has surged in the US.  Since 2013, the sales team has more than tripled in size.

Additional team members have also been added to support the Matsuura LUMEX Avance Series and manage the Matsuura LUMEX Laboratory and demonstration facility.

St. John explained that although Matsuura USA has doubled its staff, 7 team members have remained since Day 1. These employees include: Toshikazu “Tom” Matsushita, Chief Service Specialist; Masataka “Mark” Yokota, Service Advisor; Brad Baker, VP Finance and Administration; Shawn Buboltz, began as a Service Engineer and now serves as the company’s National Service Manager; Sean Ormson, started as an Application Engineer and now serves as Senior Application Engineer; David Hudson, was a Regional Manager and now is the VP of Sales and Marketing; Santana Smith, began his career at Matsuura USA as a Warehouse Worker and now leads the Parts Team as Parts Manager.

“We look to the future with confidence in our commitment to our customers to provide the most advanced manufacturing solutions. Our relationships, which have been developed over decades, are at the core of our business.
