St. Paul, MN (May 10, 2017) — Matsuura Machinery USA Inc. seeks a Director, Additive Manufacturing Technology in St. Paul, MN to recruit and manage staff as the company promotes, sells and implements Matsuura’s Metal Additive Manufacturing Technology – LUMEX. LUMEX is a powder bed metal AM platform with subtractive capability.
“Matsuura has been manufacturing the LUMEX Hybrid AM platform for more than ten years and expects to greatly expand the sales and technical support available in the US. This includes hiring technical and support staff and the creation of a showroom and demonstration facility within the existing Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. St. Paul MN headquarters,” said a Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. Spokesperson.
Preferably, the qualified candidate for Matsuura Machinery USA Inc. Director, Additive Manufacturing Technology will possess a degree in Engineering or related field and possess experience with metal additive manufacturing platforms. Excellent technical, communication and presentation skills and knowledge of Matsuura Machinery product lines is a plus. Experience with CNC machining centers and expertise in CAD and CAD/CAM software is also beneficial.
The Director, Additive Manufacturing Technology will lead a team of six including Applications Engineers, Service Engineers, Sales Coordinator and a Sales Assistant.
The Matsuura Machinery USA, Inc. Director, Additive Manufacturing Technology must reside in the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
