Employees at the company’s headquarters in St. Paul created a fund from the recycling of aluminum and steel scrap chips. The money raised was used to purchase toys for children spending the holidays in the hospital.
“We meticulously recycle all year in order to raise funds to support local charities. We believe strongly in giving back to our community and the money raised is a direct result of the dedication of our team members,” said Tyler Bonde, Application Engineer for Matsuura USA.
This year Matsuura USA employees chose to participate in a toy drive facilitated by the Holiday Inn in downtown St. Paul. The toy drive benefits the patients at children’s hospitals in the local area.
