St. Paul, MN (January 28, 2014) — Matsuura USA recently welcomed the Leadership Saint Paul (LSP) Alumni Association to the company’s St. Paul headquarters. The group toured the 38,000 sq. ft. facility including the expansive showroom and technical demonstration areas, spacious conference and training rooms, the substantial accessories and spare parts storage areas, as well as the nearly completed Spindle Repair Facility. “We really enjoyed our tour of Matsuura and their wonderful hospitality. Seeing how their immense machines work was extremely interesting and not something most of us would ever be exposed to,” said Chris Pulkrabek, Major Gifts/Planned Giving for Regions Hospital Foundation.
The group enjoyed the live demonstrations on the high speed and highly accurate machines.
“The complexity of the finished parts was very impressive,” Pulkrabek added.
The Leadership Saint Paul (LSP) Alumni Association was created to offer the LSP Alumni community the opportunity to continue to connect, cultivate, and contribute to the East Metro region through networking, educational, and volunteer opportunities. Membership in the Leadership Saint Paul Alumni Association provides on-going support for alumni programming; including LSP Master’s, social events, and LSP Graduation and Alumni Homecoming.
The group’s tour was led by John Shafer, Matsuura USA, Inc.’s VP of Engineering.
